This is the best film I've seen in a long time. I loved every second of it. Viola Davis and Lashana Lynch were outstanding. It's a must watch if you want something that's going to wow you with action and impact and that is based in history.

I found this book to be a deeply moving and honest tale about the journey towards finding oneself. I heartily recommend it for high school and up. I'm aware of the controversy surrounding it, but after having personally read it, it doesn't make sense. There are graphic depictions but they are brief and serve the story. Nothing about this story is gratuitous.

This book was poorly researched and poorly written. Many sources used weren't exactly credible- Wikipedia? What? This book is blatantly fearmongering and transphobic. If you are actively seeking information, this is NOT where you will find it. Do yourself a favor and contact a reference librarian to help you find peer reviewed articles and well sourced/researched reads. *Edited to respond to jgiro403: I found this book to largely be an opinion piece. I would again recommend further research and consulting with reference librarians to find well researched materials if you are genuinely interested in learning more about this topic.
