The first-time Survivor castaways, including NFL player Alan Ball, a marine, an Olympic swimmer, a social worker, a surf instructor, and a celebrity assistant, are divided into tribes based on the positive traits most often associated with them by others: courage, compassion, and tenacity. Together, and against each other, they battle-it-out for a chance to win a one million dollar grand prize and to be crowned Sole Survivor.
