Well, this book was alright. The story focuses around the Winslow family, but awkwardly the story is narrated by a family friend Walter. This seems very far-fetched at times, as the details he provides would be impossible to know. I think the story could have been much better served by having different characters narrate different sections. That being said, I did really enjoy the first section of the book. The way the author writes makes you feel like you are in the Hamptons and makes you want to be part of the summer fun. The book is a bit too smutty in the middle for my liking. And the ending is pretty poor too, obvious and not what is desired by the reader. I would encourage you to read the first section, as you would read a short story - but leave the rest behind.
