The Hunger Games starts upon the arrival of the procuring in District 12. Katniss Everdeen, the story's 16-year-old storyteller, embarks to meet her companion Gale so they can do some chasing and assembling before the procuring that evening. As Katniss advances from her home to the Meadow and, at long last, to the forested areas, where individuals of the locale are prohibited to go, we find out about Katniss' life in the ruined piece of her region, the Seam, and her family. She ponders her sister Prim, who is 4 years more youthful, and her mom, both of whom have relied on Katniss for survival as far back as Katniss' dad kicked the bucket in a mine blast when she was 11.The procuring is a nerve-wracking time since it figures out which kid and young lady, ages 12 to 18, will fill in as the locale's tributes in the Hunger Games. Two tributes are attracted every one of the 12 locale, and those tributes are sent to a field where they battle until just a single tribute stays alive. The victor gets the chance to return home, and the victor's region is showered with blessings — in particular nourishment. The Games, put on by the Capitol, are intended to rebuff the 12 locale of Panem just as to help them to remember the Dark Days and how the thirteenth region was pulverized for its uprising against the oppressive and merciless Capitol.
