I like the world that we are introduced to in this book. The magic is interesting, no one in omnipotent, everyone has a weakness, some of the characters hold on to them stubbornly.

There are quite a few sex scenes, and that can put some people off, but they are written well and encourage a message of mutual consent and safe sex. This book is not all sex scenes, so not to worry.

I guess my only concern is even in this freshly built universe, it seems to be happy to set itself up for the "trilogy" that so many books/ ideas / authors are moving toward. Maybe a bit predictable.

Great book, great characters, and it was a nice change from all the paranormal books out there right now. I highly recommend this series!

I really liked this book! Mead should have stuck to this and not gone high school soap opera...

I think it's a great book. Great concept, humorous, romantic, action filled.

Only thing: It was a bit too sexual.

Except for that, I loved it.

Richelle Mead is the Goddesss of writing! <3 <3
