I thought from the opening scene that this would be a really cool movie. Unfortunately it got hung up on all the things they go back & do, then all of a sudden in the last 20minutes the main charachter realizes his mistake & tries to fix it.
.
I'm totally lost as to what happened to the father the first time...if someone else gets this maybe they can message me?
.
Lastly...its another cliffhanger, getting tired of this, are writers/directors that money hungry? Or just lacking in imagination? Whichever it is...its overdone!

I could only stand to watch the first 20 minutes of this movie. Dreadfully boring.

goes on my list of "one of the worst movies I have ever seen". Seems like it was made by junior high students. It is certainly not for anyone over that age.

Stultifyingly boring, and the found footage conceit is blown up by the 2.35:1 aspect ratio as well as the use of camera platforms such as Steadicam. Also kicked out of the story early on by their ability to run a time machine on car batteries, but that's the SF writer in me sounding off.

Insanely boring, yet still manages to be obnoxious.

Although I did enjoy this film I found it to be just another one of those movies where if you've seen one, then you've seen them all, an example being CHRONICLES, which was about three nerdy teens who suddenly discover they have super abilities. One of them gets too big-headed and things get out of control. That's pretty much the premise here, accept the reasoning is over a girl he doesn't want to lose this time. Still, same difference. It was still good though.

A good time travel movie for a teen audience. 3 stars

Very much like the Butterfly Effect, but less violent and more for a teen audience. Didn't enjoy the found footage camera POV camera shooting. Acting wasn't that great but it was ok for what it was. Didn't have the highest expectations or it could have gotten a lower rating where as I expected more from Lucy and was disappointed so rated it lower.

In the "found footage format", A teen completes his fathers work in time travel technology with a toothbrush, a rubber band and AAA batteries. Begins changing the past to improve the future- only to realize that each and every time they touch the past it alters each future- nothing special- diluted by silly teen imagination and no real substance that could change the world. Small scale thinking- The movie "Coherence" is a better choice

a little predictable. it also borrows a lot of stuff from back to the future unnecessarily (toy cars, cables that are too short, the word almanac). it also contains one of the most annoying characters a movie can have, the high school super genius, who literally knows everything about everything and can build anything.
