After his departure from New York two years ago to meet up with his almost-fiancé, Zayne Beckett is the last person Agatha Watson wanted to stumble upon in her travels as a reporter with the New York Tribune. Pathetically bedraggled, he clearly needs to be taken in hand and sent back East -- and Agatha realizes she'll have to be the one to get the obstinate man home. Once they arrive, Zayne sets out to repay Agatha's help with some of his own.

4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining even if it is formulaic...Amber June 13, 2017
I've been binge reading this series and had to comment. I will start off that all of the books have me giggling and laughing and excited and I breeze through them.
Variety of personalities and such make it fun. May not be as mysterious as some of my favorite books, but the humor makes up for the predictability. Entertaining for sure

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally the romance...Moon Cat
Finally the romance that has been lurking throughout the series is in action. The intrepid reporter Agatha has traveled to the Wild West after death threats over her articles in New York. And who does she stumble upon but the love of her life, the clueless Zayne. Dangers follow as the two eventually return to New York City to confront their past and create a new future. Absolutely great series with action, humor, character growth, family unity, love, friendship, and a close relationship with God.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great book from Jen Turano. And this one has a pet pig!

You've gotta love a book when the heroine has a pet P-I-G named Matilda! This is the fourth book in the series. They've all been great books. Laugh-out-loud funny. This one may have been the funniest because of Matilda. All the characters from books one-three are in this book (my favorite part of a series). It was great catching up with them. Having read the prior books you knew this would be a good book. Agatha, the heroine, just can't stay out of trouble. And what's not to like about Zatne, our hero? Well, except his initial stupidly. You don't have to read the prior books to enjoy this book, but I would encourage you too. I'm really hopeful that there will be more books in this series. Jen Turano is a great story teller!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun and lighthearted read.,,Loraine N.
One thing that I can always count on when reading this authors books is that I will smile and laugh. How does she come up with some of the funny things that she puts her poor characters through? After watching Zayne and Agatha dance around their feelings for each other in the previous books of this series, I finally received closure reading their story. This was a fun read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Humorous story...AnnE
Agatha has loved Zayne for years til two years ago when he left town to marry a woman no one wanted him to marry. Agatha decides it's time she forget about Zayne and move on with her career as a reported. Two years later, there is someone who wants Agatha dead. She also unexpectedly finds Zayne, but he's a mess, so she tries to save him. She seems to do things without considering the ramifications to herself and to others. It was sometimes too much like a slapstick comedy, which isn't my favorite thing. Zayne is way too dense when it comes to women. He actually comes across as a bit stupid and definitely not quite the hero type. Still, the story is well written and the characters are well developed, so I'm giving it 4 stars.
