There, a team of ambitious and competitive attorneys must face the conflicts between their personal desires, their obligations as lawyers, and their principles as human beings. A portrayal of the law and its litigators that was both realistic and irreverent made the show a favorite of critics and audiences during its eight year run on NBC from 1986 to 1994.

Photography is talking heads in sterile office or courtroom, poor acting. Story line is jumbled--office romance ending up in bed, registering a low intelligence person to vote, prosecuting a guy who licked a woman's ear at the theater, a woman who carries a gun for personal safety, a security company sued for not rushing in on an armed assault, a review of a new lawyer that is probably not going to become a partner, ad naseum, all in the first half of one episode.
