This is a very lengthy course and yes,t here is repetition, but that was okay with me. I couldn't just sit and watch lecture after lecture, so it reminded me of what had been said and where we were int he course when I had to pick it up again after a few days of not watching.

I love history and thought this was a very interesting way to view history. I liked the Professor's style. He is clearly extremely intelligent and very well read across many disciplines. He chose examples, in terms of data, visuals, and quotations, very wisely. The graphics and photographs were good and on the screen long enough for the viewer to absorb them. All visuals and other source material reinforce the topic he is discussing. He presents different viewpoints from well-repeated scientists.

WARNING: Please skip this course if you cannot accept evolution, climate change, etc. You will not learn a thing and will only be writing a review about the Professor is an atheist and how terrible that is and how all the stuff about humans causing changes in our biosphere is just some vast hoax. Spare yourself the time it takes to watch this class and the anger you will feel and spare the rest of us who are not offended by the 4-letter F word (FACT) your diatribe!

This is a great idea, but as it is presented here it is way to repetitious. David Christian spends way too much time telling us what he's told us before. Any one of these lectures could be condensed into 10 or 15 minutes.
