Agree. crimes plus personal very bad decisions. Lots on friendship of women, so guys might not enjoy.

Enjoyed the first, have requested the second. Entertaining and keeps my attention, although occasionally somewhat annoying as well

Excellent series with good plots, with two flawed yet interesting lead detectives, intriguing interrogation scenes. Well worth watching and highly enjoyable.

Simply awful. Cliched and trite characters and dialogue. Lesley Sharp, who was so good in "Afterlife" is totally wasted here. As is the very talented Rupert Graves. Suranne Jones, however, is pathetic as Bailey, and dumb as well. And as cops, these two commit perjury, blackmail and more. How delightful.
Did not waste my time finishing the series. There are so many other better ones out there.

A smart detective series with compelling storylines and intriguing characters. I highly recommend this title!

An excellent police drama with strong female characters. The interrogation scenes in particular held my interest. They held none of the manipulative and borderline or unacceptable police behavior which seems to be the norm for such shows. All in all I think that it is an excellent series.

Prime Suspect move over.
Fantastic acting - didn't want it to end. I hope this series goes on for a long, long time.

Simply the best British detective going currently. Fine acting, interesting plots and does an excellent job integrating the 2 female leads' police work with their home lives. Check out this and Season 2!

One of the best police shows ever. Three very strong, female characters, and co-written by the wonderful Sally Wainwright, who also was a writer on "Last Tango in Halifax" and "Happy Valley," two more fantastic series. The interplay between the two leads, and between they and their boss, is wonderful. The characters are beautifully drawn, we really care about them, we laugh with them and at them at times, we cry with them and for them. And the police procedural detail, the interviews and staff meetings, are meticulous and riveting. One of the great ones!
