19th in the series of 24 titles thru yr 2019.
This has been one of my favorite book in the series.

Full disclosure. I almost never read mysteries and don’t tend to read a lot of series. Which might be part of the reason I really disliked this book. The predictability and stock characterizations really spoiled my enjoyment.
The babyish main character is probably a big part of my dislike. She hits her thumb with a hammer and this is a main plot line of the story. Really! She is in her mid-thirties (I assume) and her friends are in their mid-twenties and her husband “made our young friends here feel pretty small for leaving you alone with a toolbox full of dangerous weapons”. This is a one (of many) rage inducing passages that made me dislike this book.
I would give it half a star for the readers who don’t want sex, swearing or violence.

A nice cosy mystery. I always enjoy these books, although I do find the main character annoying. I like all the other characters and the stories of village life.

Another fun book in this series. And the last bits leave me with many ideas of things to come, and to look forward to.

Another installment in the delightful Aunt Dimity series! This one has the inhabitants of Finch convinced that a wishing well in an overgrown garden is making their dreams come true. But sometimes things are too good to be true....

I adore the Aunt Dimity series! They are lovely stories with wonderful characters, set in a charming English village. This latest story is terrific, and it made me laugh and cry (but happy tears). As always, I recommend starting with the first book (Aunt Dimity's Death) and reading the whole series in order for maximum enjoyment. This book reminds me of that first book, which was so good I read it twice. I highly recommend these books!
