If you enjoy a game of Scruples or like philosophy you may enjoy this movie. The movie provokes thought and would probably be more enjoyable to watch with others who enjoy to philosophize about life. However, this movie philosophize about life pushed to it limits where you cannot save everyone. So how do you choose? You can relate the points made in the movie to the education system, your own life, your workplace etc. I found the movie worth watching.

Not an accurate description; like Philosophy but found this movie to be irritating and not worth the time invested in watching it. Main characters are shallow and hypocrites.

Not a good movie. Too many holes without description.
I understood the concept but it lacks thought.

A very interesting philosophy class. Yes, it is a classroom situation in which students must make the decision who to keep in a bunker for 1 year after an atomic blast. The story is based on who is chosen and why, but based on minimal information provided by the teacher. With each situation a little more information is provided by the teacher. Surprisingly good movie; intelligent, thought provoking, with varying insights into human nature.

One of the worst movies i've seen in quite some time. The main character Petra is enough to invoke fits of disgust and emesis with her hypocrisy and arrogance. The description on the box is misleading; this is basically nothing more than a thought experiment brought to artistic life, one which contradicts itself at the end of the movie. There aren't enough negative words to describe this epic failure of a film.

Although the description has left out a few key details, the premise of the story is very interesting. Different from the usual love story or gruesome killing movies.

This is a classroom hypothetical exercise about "philosophy" in which the students and teacher discuss choosing people to survive in a bunker. No actual disasters except the movie itself.

Shallow. Self-absorbed, but the mostly superficial treatment of philosophical issues bothers me most. Some continuity errors (dog eats and drags body, body reappears later in original position). The logic errors are worse though.

This is the rare film that is creative and intelligent. The performances of these young brilliant actors is really impressive, and the story line is original. The description states that the students turn against each other, but that is hardly the case.

This is a well made film dealing with human nature and relationships. If you have an open mind you just might enjoy this film.

The description is way off. There are only hypothetical disasters in a philosophy class, and we see how they would act if it were really happening. A few interesting looks at logic, but fails on a number of levels (it seems a bit shallow, and overly saccarine when the best student makes the picks herself). There is one scene where a dog is eating a body of someone killed by radiation. It doesn't make sense the dog wouldn't have died as well.
