The characters are funny and interesting. I would love Jordan's job.

Jordan is a likeable character; her rebellion against the family she grew up with is to live a life without crime. This second book in the series has times when Jordan is strongly tempted to use some of the less-than-legal tricks she learned growing up with her uncles. Jordan's employer Vera is still her cranky self, but Jordan now knows better how to deal with Vera. These are quirky people and a beautiful (though cold) grand old house. A love/passion for books is thrown in, which I appreciate. I look forward to the next book in the series.

This is the 2nd book in a new cozy mystery series by Canadian author, Victoria Abbott. Although it was good, after reading the 1st book, I had mixed feelings about whether or not I'd continue with the series. I'm really glad I read this book as it definitely proves the author's talented and I'm truly looking forward to book #3!
