another Fox propaganda piece with the same plot as many of their other action shows and dinosaurs thrown into the mix, not worth watching

basically overpopulation is killing the planet so those who are worthy get sent back in time to the age of dinosaurs, then it starts to look like a cult

the poor and oppressed yet hard working family get punished for having an extra child so they do anything to save it from the oppressive govt including escaping from max security prison (not sure how since isn't shown) only to sneak into the wormhole that allows them to escape back in time with their extra kid

then on second disk they reveal that the scientists sent back in time are just stupid children and can't be counted on to do anything but play with big bugs

the overdose in oxygen which incapacitates the father immediately upon entering the past is one of the worst plot devices I've ever seen (quick, give him some CO2!) and he recovers immediately to meet their cult leader, I mean the guy in charge

I bet that they start to ride dinosaurs and have little dino friends who don't want to eat them as they grow up, Dino steaks anybody?

This is one of my favorites. I like the family unit. The premise begins very dark with a more or less apocalyptic future; the twist is, they escape into the distant past.

The main character is more or less an outlaw/fugitive turned sheriff (much like the premise in Defiance).

This show should most definitely have continued.

Well worth watching. Young viewers included.
