A trip down memory lane with the big shoulderpads and soap opera quality acting. The 80s mini-series has it's own feel which was fun to see. I didn't watch it right through. The stereotyping was bad, such as all rich people being heartless and soulless. Did all Gestapo leaders carry little whips around? LOL. That was so ridiculous. Catherine Mary Smith is stunning as Young Helen Junot, and the sets were wonderfull. If you are stuck in the 80s or miss Joan Collins this is your thing!
