With this book the walk was complete. Alan lost a lot before and during his walk. However he learned about love, forgiveness, and that he truly wanted to continue living and find love again in his life. He not only realized his goal of walking across the country, but he made new lasting friends and found love to fill his life. A wonderful journey through life. Recommend this series as it is filled with many wonderful people, places and lessons in life.

I have never been much of a reader.... would get books from the library only to return them unread. My heart was opened with this series. I love the writing style of Richard Paul Evans. It is very easy reading and keeps you wanting more. I am happy to say, I read these books from front to back. The story is so real and tugs at every emotion. I cried many times, not just for the story being told, but for the memories and feelings I connected with from my own life walk. There is deep meaning within these pages, something for everyone. I can't wait to read more of Richard Paul Evans' work.

THIS IS THE ONLY ONE OF THE WALK SERIES BOOKS I HAVE READ.. I FOUND IT TO BE VERY EMOTIONAL PERHAPS BECAUSE I AM GETTING TO THAT AGE WHERE "GOODBYES" WITH FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES ARE HERE OR NEAR. HOWEVER IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE INTERESTING TO HEAR ABOUT PEOPLE HE MET ON THIS LAST LEG OF HIS JOURNEY INSTEAD OF FOOD HE ATE. DIDNT REALIZE THERE WERE SO MANY "KEYS" IN FLORIDA. THAT REALLY GOT MY INTEREST. I DID LIKE THE BOOK AND THE MESSAGE HE GOT FROM HIS LONG JOURNEY

Not as good as the previous walk series... it talks too much of his everyday meal and where he stays in this series, instead of about interesting people he met :( Maybe I have my expectation too high up. Fairly disappointed (as his/this series fans).

I have enjoyed Alan Christoffersen's journey from Seattle over four books and was eagerly awaiting this the final book in the series. Perhaps I expected too much or perhaps the fact that Alan wouldn't be walking anymore made me feel a sense of let down. However, as always there were several very poignant moments in the final stretch and I will not divulge any secrets. Suffice it to say, the book brought tears in my eyes a few times.

A very nice ending to the series. I think it was exactly the way I pictured it to end. It was an enjoyable book.
The series "The Walk" has many ups and downs as Alan journeys across the country to sort out his life. I'm glad I was able to finally finish this series. It's a great one!
