My diet isn't Paleo right now (I'm on several different ones related to controlling inflammation and chronic illness), but there's some crossover, and I was desperate for recipes for things like offal, and also quick, everyday recipes that don't lean on dairy, sugar, or grains. I'm not sure Paleo would be a solution for my inflammation, but from these recipes I'd be willing to try it! I like how approachable/casual the author is, and how this book is not at all proselytizing Paleo. Most of the recipes look like you can make them on a busy weeknight, which is my current #2 priority for recipes. They also look and sound delicious! The food photographer here is great- very clean, clear, and approachable- not moody or overly stylized. I can't wait to try most of the recipes in this one!

Love the down to earth writing style, photos, and anecdotes. It makes "Paleo" appealing when the author isn't shoving it down your throat. Pun intended. I feel more drawn to it than proselytised while reading this.

One of my go-to, dog-eared paleo cookbooks in the kitchen. So many great (and tasty) recipes!

This cookbook has some great recipes, whether you follow the paleo lifestyle or not. Great pictures, thorough explanations, adorable cartoons, and the cheerful, down-to-earth writing style of Michelle Tam, which has made her Nom Nom Paleo blog such a big success.

I'm not a paleo purist, but just looking to do away with grains. I thought Michelle Tam's recipes were pretty simple and non-complicated, which is great for people who are pressed for time and can't spend half a day cooking and prepping!

Mostly is NOT Paleolithic.

Please read NeanderThin (bad title as our Paleo ancestors were CroMagnon while Neanderthals were a side branch) for a book that has it 90+% right.

Not making the switch to a paleo diet yet but this book has made it more appealing. While there are many complicated recipes with obscure ingredients there are just as many simple recipes with ingredients that I already have. I have saved a bunch of the recipes to try. I can't wait to taste them!
