This is the only sequel to Dune (which I still think is one of the greatest books ever written, no hyperbole,) that I actually like.

A profound thinking book in my opinion. I was hesitant at first to read it after reading a few reviews back in the early 2000s. But, after reading several synopsis highlighting interesting events in the book, I know I have to give it a try. Now, I'm very surprised by so many things happening in the book that I'm glad I've read this book. If you're looking for an action/adventure book, this may not be right for you. But, if you are looking for a book that makes you think about many things, then you should try to read this book.

I loved this book. One of my favorites of the series. This book really continued the story well.

God Emperor is my second favorite of the original Dune series...love it!

My personal favorite of the Dune sequels. Leto has ruled the entire universe for a few thousand years, just after merging with the sandworms to become a massive half-worm, half-man hybrid. Now that he's built a galactic empire and a religion around himself, he's trying to wind things down. It's probably weirder than it sounds. Good times.

Leto has become the Great Sand Worm -- and is ruling the Universe. He is all knowing and all seeing.
We all know what Absolute power gets...

Great continuing story to the original Trilogy
I count them more as a complete story of 6 books.
