I think I've decided that until the story gets so weak that I can't stand it, I'll keep reading this series simply for the beautiful artwork. These images are detailed, fantastical, kinetic, colorful, and so much more. Not that the story is lacking, it's just become secondary in my mind. Though I think the story would be much stronger were they able to spend twice as much time developing it--the amount always feels a bit sketchy compared to what it should be, and I think perhaps the limits of what the artist can create in time for the next publishing deadline might prevent more depth of story creation. Doesn't matter, since what's there tells enough story to satisfy as I enjoy dwelling on the pictures.
