Taking over from Frost's creator would be no easy task but the result definitely has the flavour of the original and would make just as good television.

In the first pages, DS Frost seemed more concerned with smoking and being rude to a possible witness than the crime itself.

British Crime Fiction. This one was witty and had good characters. A bit slow to start but it got more interesting as it went along.
