a little scratched also. Not as bad as Season 1.

Interesting shift from first season: much more character development, more negatives, longer narrative arc.

It's not about cases being resolved at the end of an episode or season. This is a character driven drama/comedy. A workplace that engages in movie quote fests and popular culture references like "kneel to Zod." There's hand gestures indicating who or what is higher up on the ladder, practical jokes, rituals (the can opener!), and Jessica and Harvey often find themselves parenting rather than mentoring the rest of the staff. Seeing Louis strut to Disco Inferno was priceless!

The death of the wife of one of the founding partners at Pearson Hardman ignites an ugly battle for control of the firm. Mike Ross continues to work for Harvey Specter but more people at the firm find out about Mike's secret that he never went to Harvard Law School or passed the bar. An adversary of Harvey resurrects an old lawsuit that not only threatens the firm but may cost Harvey his license to practice law. During season two of Suits Harvey and Mike use their maverick techniques to win cases. However, because of the legal fight with the founding partner, the firm begins to lose partners, associates and clients. Just when things look the worst some legal moves may save the day. At the end of season two a British law firm begins a plan to merge the two firms. Harvey and Mike want no part of the merger but managing partner Jessica Pearson has other ideas.
