"The village of Little Worthing prides itself on two tourist attractions: the annual boat race and an elaborate model village. Then the body of troublemaker Richard Tanner turns up bound on the model with string and pegs like a passage from Gulliver's Travels. As Barnaby and Jones investigate, they discover that outsized passions swirled around the tiny figurines and that this model hamlet hides troubling personal histories"--Container.

Again the acting is wonderful. How do they keep up the good performances when the plot is beyond ridiculous? Here the murderess is a gentle soul trying to make others feel good and yet she kills without regret although not indiscriminately. After all, you just don't kill someone for no good reason. Do you? Unless it is someone in the Midsomer area.

The miniature village is creepy. The show follows the usual, perfectly enjoyable, formula.
