For nearly a quarter of a century, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton were Hollywood royalty and their fiery romance, often called the marriage of the century, was the most notorious, publicized and celebrated love affair of its day. Swarmed by paparazzi worldwide, their love affair was played out entirely in front of the media from the time they met on the set of the major motion picture Cleopatra, left their respective spouses, married and divorced, only to remarry and divorce once again.

This was pretty terrible, but also extremely entertaining. My friends and I laughed ourselves silly as we counted how many alcoholic beverages were flung against walls etc.
Actually quite a fun watch if you're looking for something in the "so bad, it's good" category.

We took out 10 movies from our library. This was the last one I watched. Right off I was floored at how much Grant Bowler sounded just like and acted like RB. Then I have been brought back to be a big fan of LL, she was fantastic. She proved to me that she is one of the top women actors, she is so beautiful and pulled off Liz perfectly, she is back and I hope she stays on this path in her life! This move was way overdue to be done and done well it was!

Interesting sequence of events but not a page-turner and the end is forgettable. Crazy how she looks like Elizabeth Taylor but sounds like herself.

I thought I'd hate this movie because I am not a fan of LL. However I love Liz Taylor and wanted to give the movie a chance. I actually was pleasantly surprised. It was a very well made movie with accurate sets and costume design. LL was very good as Liz, shockingly. She was a great choice to play her and actually looks like Liz in many of the scenes. The actor playing Richard Burton was very convincing as well. Had Richards voice down to a T. I would recommend this movie and very much enjoyed watching what Liz and Dick's life was behind the screen.
