A riviting and chilling story of a small group of women who work together at a geocide research center in Denmark. There are unsettling parallels infered between historical human rights autrocitys and the actions and thought processes of the characters. A good thought provoking read!

Jungersen is the author of Danish award-winning and best-selling books, two so far (only one of which is available in English) and whose European and American reviewers use terms like “dazzling”, “spellbinding”, “gorgeous”, ”sophisticated”, “profound”, “thought-provoking”, “exquisite” and “brilliant”; I found this book to quite interesting and a very good marrying of office politics with the behavioural characteristics underlying genocidal actions; unfortunately, it was difficult to follow the plot lines near the end and that marred my overall enjoyment of it; one holes that Jungersen's other book gets translated into English.
