I love the characters, but this particular book was a little boring. I got tired of the aging fraternity brothers. Yawn.

The Long Stitch Good Night was an enjoyable read and the embroidery shop setting is delightful. Although I love the characters, the mystery portion of the story fell a little flat for me. It just seemed to be lacking punch, so I would have to say this book was my least favorite in the series.

This is a fun series. The characters are likable, there is a lot of action. Unlike some knitting/ crochet/ stitch work mysteries, there is very little about embroidery in the book, even though it's called "an embroidery mystery". The story is more about the relationships among the main characters. If you want tips on how to embroider, this is not the book for you. If you want a light, fun read, this could be the book for you.

The Long Stitch Good Night is the fourth book in the Embroidery Mystery series. Marcy feels compelled to investigate when two of her best friends are accused of the murder of their frat brother. This also puts her two romantic interests on opposite ends of the scales of justice with Todd being one of the accused and Ted investigating the crime in his role of detective. Any romantic notions seem to be put on hold until the mystery is solved.
