i regret reading it.
it was totally like M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening" but a book; utterly predictable, boring, and the final "twist" is achingly stupid.

I put this down about six months ago but it's been nagging at me ever since, so I decided to crack it open again and see how things end. Intriguing characters, an unusual premise and very creepy. Jensen has a knack for creating scenes that are as vivid as they are deeply unsettling and she expertly utilizes a distinct narrator and gradual revelation of clues to build high tension. Not my usual fare but this was a highly engaging and unique story.
