This was a great movie; very suspenseful, very enjoyable. And, while, I enjoy the Jaws series, it is repetitive and simply too long. They hit gold with Jaws, and tried to stretch it out too far. All of the movies are good, but the first one is the best. It had originality, suspense, and quite frankly, pleasure that declined as more movies came out. However, this isn't to say that I don't enjoy all of the movies; I'm just saying that while the first was classic, the others simply don't live up to the high standards that it set. The filmmakers were trying to recreate the first movie instead of adding new elements. The movies even ended the same way each time. Great film, though.

Smile you son of a-. I've seen this movie many times before, but you haven't truly seen it until you've seen it on this Blu-ray remaster, the video quality is absolutely phenomenal. If you have a high definition television, prepare for an amazing movie experience. As for the movie itself, an absolute classic masterpiece and really set the world wide precedence for humans fear of sharks.
