The island of Nantucket was swept by a cosmic disaster into the year 1250 B.C. The new Republic of Nantucket is now threatened by renegade Coast Guard officer William Walker, who is making alliances with the Trojan War heroes Agamemnon and Odysseus. The Republic and Walker deal with Bronze Age Greece, Phoenicia, and Babylonia, ancient regimes changed by the modern technology the time travelers introduced.

Characters that you can care about, and plenty of action. Once you get past the 'time-travel' bump, the science is consistent and plausible, the actions of both the modern and Bronze age make sense. I just wish that this series was longer!
