I was so disappointed in this story. Niether main characters intrigued me. Mallory was way too stupid, and mean. I also didn't like how he took liberty of Morie at times, especially with hardly knowing each other. Morie was too daring to the point of asking for trouble, and I just couldn't buy that her father or Mallory's brothers would permit her to go on her own to talk to Joe without a real struggle of being forbidden to go. I mean her father forbid her to be a cattle girl because he wanted her to be a lady as well as just being over proteced, yet he practially gives her his blessing to go on her own to search for Mallory and confront a killer. I also didn't like the twist with the killer, making me feel sorry for him for nothing. An the love making scene was too aweful, passionless and certain choice of words gross me out.
