"Whenever my father went out of town, he had the mail stopped." In this graphical memoir, Laurie Sandell examines her childhood memories about her outlandish father. Much later in life, after she becomes a journalist, Laurie investigates her father and discovers some dark secrets. Laurie eventually reflects on the shambling ruin of her adult life and on how this strange father/daughter relationship shaped her life.
