Jack's Mannequin is probably the first artist I really got into at the start of this decade, and singer and pianist Andrew McMahon is still my go-to artist whenever I'm in the mood for indie-pop. There are so many golden songs on this album, including "Dark Blue," "Holiday from Real," and "I'm Ready." The key is Andrew's unbelievable talent on the piano. He's so great that he makes you want to learn how to play the piano, too, mainly so you can play his songs for your own enjoyment. If you enjoy Jack's Mannequin, don't forget to check out Andrew's other music projects, including Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.
