Aang needs to learn water bending, so his companion, Katara, steals a waterbending scroll to teach him. Elsewhere, Zuko is still in pursuit of the Avatar. Later, the trio is almost captured by the Fire Nation until a boy named Jet and his friends rescue them. While they trusted him initially, they realize his intention to kill Fire Nation soldiers, while killing villagers as collateral damage. Sokka saves the villagers by evacuating the village. Eventually the trio leaves to cross a canyon, where the Avatar has to keep two tribes from fighting against each other. During this time, they get trapped as their guide’s arms break, preventing him from earth bending. Eventually, they find their way out and Aang manages to mend things between the two feuding tribes. Aang decides to tell Katara of the events preceding his state of suspended animation, while Zuko’s uncle, Iroh, explains the events leading to Zuko’s scar. Rated 4/5
