VERY GOOD set of 21 cuts from the career of talented singer Johnny Cash. Excellent singing, accompaniment, etc. recapitulates his career and demonstrates why Cash was/is a top notch country music star.
I particularly enjoyed the 'Highwayman' song - where Johnny is accompanied by Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.

A good cross section from every phase of this icon's long and winding career. Great for Cash enthusiasts or as an intro to the Legend.

"The Legend of Johnny Cash, Volume I" is the great work of Hippo Records. They took the best songs from Johnny Cash's long career and put them on one album. To top if off, their are duets with June Carter Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. After listening to this album, you will know why he was such a legendary performer of country music!
