Probably one of the best in the "Private Series", but a bit too long and drawn out. Each chapter is only 2 or 3 pages. I wonder if Patterson has separate writers for each chapter. That way he can put out a new book every couple of weeks.

This is the only fiction book I have ever read (willingly. Books from grade school do not count). I enjoyed it so much that I devoured it in two days. I highly recommend this novel to anyone looking for a good and enticing read!

Pretty typical stuff - if you like everyone kitted out with great equipment, fit and trim, able to work through violent assault and still be cool, an easy summer read.

Patterson is usually a great story teller and I have read ninety percent of his adult books, but unfortunately with this book he turned into a wordsmith. too much information which made a very boring book.

I wish all the Private novels were based in LA, as this crew is much more likeable. This book was a little dark in parts, but overall a good story. Looking forward to the next in the series.
