DNF. After a few of her books, I realized they are pretty much the same. Locale change, character changes, a crime/murder, a new romance. Template writing. It's how she cranks out so many books a year. The only original one was the very…

I have not read one of Nora Roberts books in years and chose Whiskey Beach. It was very good and I look forward to reading another of her more recent novels soon. I will admit I was pretty sure 'who did it' early on but it was still very…

I've read dozens of Nora Roberts books and this one is good but not one of her best. I thought it was too long with lots of unnecessary conversations that didn't contribute to the story. I did enjoy the overall story line, so if you have…

This book is okay, but not Nora's best. The hero Eli has too much angst, and the lady Abra is too New Agey and somewhat occult. Do not like her at all. Her name should be Abra-cadabra. Originality is lacking. I can picture someone…

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. The plot -- a man suffering from the murder of his wife, and whom the court of public opinion has declared guilty who returns to his (of course) palatial family home on the beach…

Once again, Nora Roberts excels at her craft! I loved this book. The plotline kept you hooked from the beginning. I didn't want to put it down and I felt I could connect with the characters. Definitely will buy this one to reread! :)

I was skeptical but this is the best book I've read in a very long time. Like The Forgotten Garden meets Lincoln Lawyer! Would love to see a movie adaptation with Matthew McConaughy as Eli!!
